Snowboard Hero

There’s nothing quite like hitting the slopes and having a fun snowboarding session. Fun as it may be to go out and snowboard, there are a few nuisances. Like the fact that you don’t have enough free time to go out and snowboard, or the fact that there’s no snow on the slopes when you do have a bit of free time, or the fact that the slope’s a long way away and you can’t afford to make a trip right now.

There is an alternative: you can have a fun snowboarding session right on your iDevice. All you need is the right app. There are plenty snowboarding apps out there and some are better than others. The FISHLABS Entertainment-developed app Snowboard Hero is one of the best out there, if not the best.

It offers an exceptional snowboarding experience. You get to perform spectacular tricks, get some insane airtime, and go downhill at super fast speeds. You will go down the slopes (very nice snowy mountain scenery by the way) using six different characters, each with its individual tricks available for you to unlock. You will get to pic boards and outfits for each character,

You will get to try five different disciplines (time trial, freestyle, slalom, race, gate-time bonus), and eight combination disciplines. In all you will get to play through a grand total of 66 events.

To get the Snowboard Hero app you will have to part with $4.99 (the purchase price in the App Store at the time of writing this). That’s a bit more than what you pay for other apps, but then again this is not like other apps. It offers an exceptional snowboarding experience that’s more than worth the five bucks.
